Good To Be Back

On Saturday, Matt and I went to Elon's homecoming game.

It was good to be back on campus.

It was good to "relive" that college feeling for a few moments.

Some things have changed (new bookstore next to the coffee shop); some things haven't changed

(sorority girls in tiny dresses and boots for sporting events.)

Although we didn't get the chance to walk around campus as we wanted to, we did get a sneak peek inside the newly built field house after the game. Matt's cousin works for the football program and gave us the behind the scenes tour where the student athletes prepare for practices and games.

I love this campus. It's small, but mighty. And beautiful.

And the game? Well, Elon got bowled over by Chattanooga.

But the weather was gorgeous and we snacked on homemade ice cream,

so I'd say it was a good day!
